What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?
Categories of Information Collected
To provide our services to you, we will ask you to provide the Personal Information necessary for service delivery. If you do not provide Personal Information, we may be unable to provide you with our products or services.
We collect the following categories of information (whether or not it constitutes Personal Information):
Profile Information:
We may collect and use your avatar, personal signature, nickname, gender, time zone, language, sports preferences, and regional data.
Personal Physical Data:
Upon activating CamiHome, we require you to provide your date of birth, height, weight, and gender.
Device-Recorded Data:
When you use CamiHome to synchronize data from related devices, we will record your profile information, including activity information, sleep information, heart rate information, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), weight, impedance values, distance, swimming strokes, pace, and exercise duration.
Device-Collected Data:
When you synchronize your device with CamiHome, to provide step count and altitude display features or services, we will request your sensor permissions and collect raw data obtained by the sensors: the sensorHub sensor will obtain phone step-counting information for the step display function; the barometric pressure sensor will obtain barometric pressure values for running altitude calculation.
Behavior Tagging Information:
When you choose to tag relevant behaviors, CamiHome will collect information including, but not limited to, activity information and heart rate data to provide you with the corresponding service tagging function.
Call Information:
When you use the call and SMS reminder functions, CamiHome will access data related to incoming calls, SMS, and contacts. With your permission, such incoming call, SMS, and contact data will be used for display on devices such as smart bands and watches; however, CamiHome will not store your incoming call, SMS, or contact-related data.
Phone Information:
When using CamiHome, we need to obtain your mobile operating system version, mobile phone brand and model, phone hardware identifiers (such as IDFA, IMEI), phone system time, and phone alarms.
Network Usage Data:
We may collect network types, network signals, and other information related to specific features of CamiHome.
Music Control Information:
When using the music control function, we will collect music information from your phone (e.g., song name, playback status, volume) and synchronize it to the device. This information is only displayed on the device, and we will not store the aforementioned information.
Location Data:
When you use location-based program services or features, we may collect your location data.
Feedback Information:
When you submit feedback, we will collect relevant user feedback logs, contact information, etc., based on your choices.
Device Information:
When you use CamiHome to connect to a hardware device, data including but not limited to the device's unique identifier, firmware version, approximate geographic location data (non-personal data), and related feature usage statistics (non-personal data) will be transmitted to our servers. The above data collection may also apply to system or software updates, factory resets, etc.
Information Actively Submitted When Using Relevant Features:
If you set goals or heart rate reminders in CamiHome, the exercise goals, weight goals, and heart rate reminder values you enter will be collected to prompt or alert you when goals are reached. If you choose to use the Women's Health feature, the menstrual cycle duration, interval between two menstrual start dates, date of the last menstrual start, as well as the menstrual start date, menstrual end date, physical condition during menstruation, and mood submitted each time during the use of this feature will be collected. If you choose to create a custom watch face, the images you upload will be collected to serve as your watch face background.
Auto-Start:
CamiHome is companion software for smartwatches. To ensure we provide push notification services, such as displaying messages from your selected third-party apps on your watch in a timely manner, we will attempt to auto-start CamiHome when your device status changes (e.g., network status changes, after boot-up, app updates) to receive push notifications.
How This Personal Information Will Be Used
The purpose of collecting Personal Information is to provide you with products and/or services and to ensure our compliance with applicable laws. You hereby consent to our processing of Personal Information for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and to the disclosure of Personal Information to our affiliates (involving communications, social media, technology, and cloud businesses) and third-party service providers (as defined below).
We may use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
Calculating Exercise and Health Results.
We will use the raw information collected by the device combined with your personal physical data to calculate exercise, sleep, and health information, and display it to you within the App or on the device. Examples include: BMI, PAI, muscle mass, body fat, water content, protein, basal metabolic rate, visceral fat, bone mass, body type, biological age, stress levels, calorie expenditure, maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max), training effect, training load, recovery time, blood oxygen saturation, sleep information (sleep score, sleep duration, REM sleep stages, sleep duration distribution, sleep breathing quality), heart rate information, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), weight, stroke count, stroke rate, swimming laps, SWOLF index, impedance values, distance, swimming strokes, pace, and activity information. We will obtain your step-counting data through the gyroscope sensor and display your step count.
Body Condition Analysis.
Based on the personal physical data you provide and the data recorded by the device, we will provide you with analyses related to your body condition for your reference. For example: providing you with an ideal weight range for reference; displaying your current and/or all-day stress values and/or stress change trends.
Providing CamiHome Services.
After the relevant device is synchronized with CamiHome, the data recorded in the device will be synchronized to CamiHome and displayed to the user.
Displaying Call Information.
When you receive incoming calls or text messages, data regarding the call or message will be displayed on devices that support this function.
Displaying Music Information.
When using the music control function, music information (e.g., song name, playback status, volume) will be displayed on devices that support this function.
Determining Phone Compatibility.
Phone-related information will be used to determine whether your phone can use CamiHome.
Providing Alarm Reminder Function.
We will collect your phone alarm information to promptly remind you via device vibration when you enable phone alarm reminders.
Bluetooth Shutter.
You can control your phone's camera through devices that support this function. To achieve this, the device will pair with your phone via Bluetooth to control the camera, and Bluetooth permissions will be requested during the pairing process.
Providing Women's Health Function.
When you choose to use the Women's Health function, you can record and view menstruation-related information on devices that support this function or within CamiHome; we will predict your menstrual cycle based on the information you provide and send you reminders. We may also recommend suitable training courses based on your recorded menstruation timing and physical condition during menstruation.
Displaying Sleep Information.
We will use your personal physical profile and device-recorded data to calculate and analyze your sleep condition for display within CamiHome, such as sleep score, sleep duration, REM sleep stages, sleep duration distribution, and sleep breathing quality.
Providing Heart Health Monitoring Function.
Some devices support heart health monitoring. If you choose to enable this feature, we may collect your heart rate information to display your heart rate status, alert you via the device when data changes are detected, and display the information on both the device and CamiHome.
Providing Network-Related Services.
CamiHome will prompt users about the data traffic required to download sports-related videos and determine whether a new version of CamiHome is available for update based on network types, network signals, and other information.
Statistical Analysis.
We will conduct statistical analysis of our services or device conditions and may share these statistical data with the public or third parties to demonstrate usage trends of our products or services, optimize products and services, display rankings, friend competitions, etc. For example, by analyzing your step count, we will display comparison results with relevant users (e.g., users in the same region), but such statistical information will not contain any of your personally identifiable information.
Cookies and Other Technologies
What data do we collect, and how do we use it?
Both Weida and third-party service providers use technologies such as cookies, tags, and scripts. These technologies are used to analyze trends, administer the website, track users' movements around the website, and gather demographic information about our overall user base. We receive reports from these companies on the use of these technologies on an individual and aggregate basis.
Log Files:
As is common practice among many websites, we collect certain data and store it in log files. This data includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), referring/exit pages, operating systems, date/time stamps, and/or clickstream data. We do not link this automatically collected data to other data we collect about you.
Mobile Analytics:
In some of our mobile applications, we use mobile analytics software to better understand the functionality of the mobile software on your phone. This software may record how often you use the application, events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and information about application crashes. We do not link the data stored in the analytics software to any Personal Information you submit within the mobile application.
Local Storage – HTML5/Flash:
We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs), such as HTML5 or Flash, to store content and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our website or to display advertising based on your web browsing activity also use HTML5 or Flash cookies to collect and store information. Various browsers offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.
With Whom Do We Share Your Information?
We do not sell any Personal Information to third parties.
We may occasionally disclose your Personal Information to third parties (as defined below) to provide the products or services you have requested.
We may make disclosures to the third-party service providers and affiliates listed below. In the various circumstances described in this section, you can rest assured that Weida will only share your Personal Information based on your authorization. You should understand that in any of the circumstances described below, when Weida shares your Personal Information with third-party service providers, Weida will contractually require such third parties to comply with applicable local data protection laws. Weida will contractually ensure that third-party service providers adhere to the privacy standards applicable to them in your jurisdiction.
Sharing Information with Our Group and Third-Party Service Providers
We may integrate SDKs (Software Development Kits) provided by third-party service suppliers into our devices or Apps to provide you with the full functionality of our products and services. We may disclose your Personal Information from time to time to other Weida affiliates (involving communications, social media, technology, or cloud businesses) or our third-party service providers (our mailing stores, delivery service providers, telecommunications companies, data centers, data storage facilities, customer service providers, advertising and promotion service providers, agents acting on behalf of Weida), affiliates, and/or other third parties (collectively referred to as "Third-Party Service Providers"). Such
Third-Party Service Providers may process your Personal Information on behalf of Weida or for one or more of the purposes mentioned above. If you no longer wish to allow us to share this information, please contact us.
Currently, our Third-Party Service Providers include the following two main categories:
1. Analytics Service Providers: Unless we have your permission, we will not share your personally identifiable information (information that can identify you, such as your name or email address, through which you can be contacted or identified) with partners providing advertising or analytics services. We will provide these partners with information regarding ad reach, click-through rates, and effectiveness without providing your personally identifiable information, or we will aggregate this information so that it does not identify you personally, to help them understand their audience or customers.
2. Vendors, Service Providers, and Other Partners: We send information to vendors, service providers, and other partners who support our business globally. This support includes providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our services are used, measuring the effectiveness of advertising and services, providing customer service, delivering product features, facilitating payments, or conducting academic research and surveys. We are committed to ensuring the security of your Personal Information. To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or other similar risks, we have implemented reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect from your devices. We will take all reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information.
All your Personal Information is stored on secure servers and protected in controlled facilities. Similarly, we have dedicated access control measures for cloud-based data storage. What You Can Do!
You can protect your account security by not disclosing your login password or account information to anyone (unless formally authorized by you). You can set a unique password for Weida to prevent breaches from other websites from compromising your account security. At no time should you disclose verification codes you receive to anyone (including individuals claiming to be Weida customer service). Whenever you log in, especially on someone else's computer or a public internet terminal, you should always log out at the end of your session.
We are not liable for security breaches caused by third-party access to your Personal Information resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your Personal Information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any other internet user uses your account without authorization or if any other security vulnerability occurs, you should notify us immediately. Your assistance will help us protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information.
Retention Policy
We retain Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the information collection purposes described in this Privacy Policy and specific service privacy policies, or as required by applicable relevant laws. Personal Information will cease to be retained and will be deleted or anonymized once the collection purpose is fulfilled, after we confirm your deletion or account cancellation request, or after we cease operations of the corresponding product or service. If retention is for public interest, scientific, historical research, or statistical purposes, we will continue to retain the relevant data based on applicable laws, even if further data processing is incompatible with the original collection purposes.
Access to Other Functions on Your Device
Our applications may access certain functions on your device, such as Wi-Fi network status, and other functions. This information is used to allow these applications to run on your device and to enable you to interact with them. At any time, you can revoke permissions by disabling the application at the device level or by contacting us.

Weida recognizes that everyone's privacy concerns vary. Therefore, we provide examples of various ways offered by Weida for you to choose to limit the collection, use, disclosure, or processing of your Personal Information and control your privacy settings:
Click "Other Settings - Menstrual Cycle Reminder" to enable/disable the intelligent menstrual cycle prediction mode;
Enable or disable other services and features that process sensitive or Personal Information.

Accessing, Updating, or Correcting Your Personal Information
You have the right to request access to and/or correction of any Personal Information we hold about you. Personal Information collected and generated during our operations in mainland China will be stored in data centers located in mainland China.

Minors
